Annual AIA Fort Worth tour shows off five homes
The annual AIA Fort Worth Homes Tour — this year featuring five homes of varying architectural styles and project types — is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 16. The tour, which is self-guided, features “elite homes” and opportunities to meet the architects at each home. The projects on the tour include renovations, additions and new construction, with a range of budgets and lifestyles.
Tickets, which are $25 apiece and include admission to all five homes, can be purchased in advance on the AIA site or at the homes with a card. Visit aiafw.org for more information. Children 12 and younger are admitted free. Tickets are nonrefundable. A map of the featured homes will be released on the AIA site the Friday before the tour.
Proceeds from the tour support programs and scholarships of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
The following architects have projects on the tour: Steven Halliday and Jason Eggenburger, 97w; Albert S. Komatsu; Brigati, PLLC and Lindsey Brigati Boren; Rebecca Palluth; and Norman D. Ward Architect.
